Parking in Penzance during the Golowan Festival.

Restricted parking will operate in Penzance Town Centre on the 27th, 28th and 29th of June 2008 (The big weekend). Overflow carparks will be in operation on these dates, full details will be available on this site when available.

Parking in Penzance between the 22nd and 26th of June 2008 will not be effected.

Road closure and traffic restrictions

A limited road closure with a Minor traffic diversion will operate in the Quay area of Penzance on th 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th of June. Drivers are advised to avoid this area on these dates.

A rolling road closure will occur in Chapel Street, Penzance at aprox 10.30pm on the 23rd June 2008. Drivers are advised to avoid this area on the night in question.

A complete road closure of Penzance Town Centre will operate on Mazey Day, 28th June 2008. This will include all main roads in the town.

A complete road closure will operate on Quay fair day in the Quay area.

Residents and motorists are advised to check local press listings for the full road closure schedule nearer the event.

Stall holders and other participants in the festival should liase with the festival office to obtain access times to the festival sites.
