Golowan must be the biggest and best festival this side of Glastonbury, and we do it on a shoestring, a prayer and the fantastic committment of our community who give up so much time and effort to make Penzance a place we’re all proud of.

2010 will be the 20th Golowan!

The dates are 20th-27th June 2010 with Mazey Day on 26th.

Once again we'll be presenting eight days of sheer enjoyment for all tastes, culminating in the amazing Mazey Day on Sat 26th when the streets of Penzance are full of sound and colour, spectacular processions, street entertainment and a huge outdoor market.

This year we welcome two sister festivals: the first Penzance Folk Festival at Trereife House on 19th/20th June www.trereifefolkfestival.co.uk and the revived PZ 2010 Maritime Festival in Penzance harbour from 24th - 27th with classic boats of beauty and grace.

All the magic of Golowan and Mounts Bay in high summer - sun, beaches, long evenings outdoors - come on!
